Overview
Compensation: $21.00 Hourly
The starting rate ranges from $21.00 per hour for new locators to $32.00 per hour for those with substantial prior locating experience.

No prior locating experience is required, but experienced locators are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
- Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
These are daytime, full-time positions. We typically have a 48-hour turnaround on many locates and may require working the day after holidays and some weekends. Overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call shifts (including nights and weekends) may be required based on business needs.

- Proficiency with technology
- Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
- Ability to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Able to work in confined spaces and to lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark utilities
- Ability to read locate tickets, maps, and prints; clear communication with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners
