What You’ll Do as a 2nd Shift Diesel Mechanic In this role, you’ll perform essential fleet maintenance and diesel truck repair to keep our drivers safe and our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel vehicles

Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems

Using onboard vehicle diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and adjust engine/vehicle control modules

Responding to road calls and conducting emergency repairs

Reviewing and completing repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
Documenting work using fleet maintenance software

Test-driving vehicles after repairs

Supporting teammates with complex repairs

Interacting professionally with drivers

Maintaining a clean and safe shop environment compliant with OSHA standards

Performing additional maintenance duties as needed

What We’re Looking For To excel in this 2nd shift diesel mechanic role, you should bring:

Hands-on experience with diesel truck diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs

Hydraulic system experience (preferred but not required)
Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
