Permanent Full Time Material Handler
Location:
Ryder Facility, Aurora, IL.
- 19.00 Hourly plus $0.75 per hour shift premium
- Warehouse positions pay each week

- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Follow performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
- Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid forklift operator's license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
- Highly thorough and dependable.
- Good attendance record and punctuality.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of initiative.
- Accurate work under pressure.
- Lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
- Stand for long periods.
- Work with health and safety methods.
- Flexible schedule across various shifts.
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
