Facilities Maintenance Service Technician – Distribution Center

Location: Aurora, IL, USA – 1995 McKesson Street

Shift: Sunday 6 pm – 2:30 pm;
Monday–Thursday 7 pm – 3:30 pm (subject to change). OT mandatory if required.

Compensation: Base pay $26.57–$44.29 per hour, with a $1.75/hr shift differential.

Job Summary: The temperature‑controlled Distribution Center in Aurora, IL is hiring a Senior Facilities Representative. This role involves generalist maintenance tasks, repair of internal and external areas, and assistance with conveyor and distribution equipment services.

Responsibilities: Perform complex technical tasks related to building maintenance, repair, and operation of conveyor systems and other distribution equipment. Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment in a distribution center environment, communicate professionally with stakeholders, and support warehouse operations.

• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.

• Facility, maintenance, or service technician experience.
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of equipment used in a distribution center.
• Knowledge and safe usage of hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.
• Basic exposure to warehouse work environments.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC trades.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and OSHA.
• Work order experience preferred.
• Experience operating power equipment; willing to train and maintain certifications.
• Willingness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage or other general labor.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder use, scissor lift & forklift use, climbing up to four stories in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights and in cold areas at times.
