Job Description
We have a new opening for a Valve/Instrumentation Technician in the Springfield, IL region. This position provides an opportunity for traveling field service to client sites, working with control valves, pressure relief valves, oil & gas, power, and fluid sealing applications.
Compensation- $20.00 - $30.00 per hour to start
- Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance)
- 401(k) plan, paid time off
- 7:00 a.m. start (8‑10 hour days depending on service)
- Monday to Friday, overtime potential
- Overnight travel expected
- 2+ years of experience with control valves, instrumentation, valve actuation
- Ability to repair, install independently, educate customers, and service software
- Experience with steam traps, gas analyzers, temperature/pressure flow systems
- Valid driver’s license; selected candidates will be subject to pre‑employment checks/screening
