We're looking for an experienced Camera and Access Technician who enjoys technology, troubleshooting, and hands-on field work. In this role, you'll install, service, program, and maintain CCTV surveillance, access control, intercom, and related electronic security systems at customer locations.

How You'll Make an Impact

As a Camera and Access Technician, you'll help ensure our customers' electronic security systems are installed correctly, operating reliably, and ready to protect their people and property.

In this role, you will:
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CCTV surveillance, access control, intercom, and related electronic security systems.
  • Configure, program, and test IP cameras, access control panels, video management software (VMS), and related system components.
  • Diagnose equipment and system issues using manufacturer specifications, diagnostic equipment, and your technical expertise.
  • Perform functional testing, inspections, and system commissioning to verify proper system operation.
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues related to electronic security systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Educate customers on the proper operation and basic maintenance of their security systems.
  • Document service activities, repairs, programming changes, and customer interactions accurately.
  • Coordinate with customers, dispatch, project managers, and other ADS departments to complete work efficiently and resolve service issues.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicle, and inventory in a safe, organized, and professional manner.
  • Follow company safety procedures, installation standards, and applicable industry codes and regulations.
  • Participate in an on-call night rotation based on department staffing.
