Maintenance Technician III

G&W Electric Co. seeks a Maintenance Technician III to support second-shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, troubleshoots mechanical and basic electrical issues, and supports continuous improvement to maximize uptime and safety. The technician will interpret technical drawings, document work in maintenance systems, and collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS or related systems
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to resolve equipment issues
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives for equipment and processes
• Assist with equipment installations, setups, and modifications as needed
