The Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley is currently seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Foster Care Case Aides. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and families within our community.

Position Summary

The Foster Care Case Aide provides essential support to foster care services by transporting clients and supervising family visits under the direction of the Foster Care Supervisor. This role is well-suited for individuals who are organized, caring, and committed to helping families succeed.

Schedule Availability
  • Flexible availability during daytime and evening hours
  • Weekend availability as needed
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate appointments and visit schedules with parents, foster parents, and other involved individuals
  • Provide safe, dependable transportation for clients
  • Supervise family visits in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with clients, families, agency staff, and community partners
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Experience working with children and families preferred
  • Ability to work within a structured agency setting and follow supervisory guidance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, service providers, and community agencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel, along with general computer skills
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
