- Observe traffic gaps and lead children across roadways or intersections
- Stop traffic to allow children and pedestrians to cross busy street intersections
- Maintain awareness of present or potential traffic hazards in the surrounding area
- Promptly inform the designated administrator of any hazards and possible corrective measures
- Exercise considerable caution and safety while supervising the safety of children
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with associates and the general public
- Follow safety and security guidelines and policies to ensure all students cross streets safely
- Follow school dress standards, be on time, be dependable, and handle other district requirements
Rate of Pay: $16.50 per hour
Working ConditionsEmployee must stand or walk up to 2 hours per work day and be exposed to all weather conditions.
