Overview
Accessories Control Coordinator (Madison, IL) – immediate hire. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and ordering accessories and related supplies to ensure proper freight transportation and to provide administrative and clerical support to Operations and Maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Inventory assets to determine usability and replace non‑functional equipment.
- Maintain order of unassigned equipment on the yard by conducting periodic yard checks and rearranging vehicles as needed.
- Inspect, repair, or submit accessory items to outside vendors for repair.
- Ensure accessories are properly stored and have the correct quantities by inspecting drivers’ vehicles daily.
- Maintain stock levels by placing and expediting orders to keep parts in stock when needed.
- Verify receipt of parts and supplies.
- Distribute parts and supplies to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor and remove obsolete parts and supplies from inventory.
- Review inventory turns and adjust stock levels.
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and maintain variance at 1% or less.
- Lead daily meetings with the shop to discuss required trucks and trailers.
- Unload all freight delivery trucks and notify departments of shipments.
- Stack and un‑stack trailers as needed.
- Attend and participate in appropriate training to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
- Maintain company confidentiality.
- Monday through Friday 7:00AM–4:00PM.
- Starting pay $19.04–$25.76 (depending on skill level). Bonus potential.

High‑school diploma or equivalent plus 6–12months related experience and/or training. 0–12months previous management experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Working ConditionsShop environment exposed to noise, intermittent standing, walking, occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting. May involve exposure to outdoor weather elements.
Physical ActivitiesFrequent standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100pounds. Requires close vision.
