Domestic Operations Agent

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Domestic Operations Agent to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can offer a high standard of accuracy and customer service to fulfill the client shipping needs. The ideal candidate will assist our customers in every aspect of their shipment from pickup to delivery.

• Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner
• Accommodate clients’ freight routing needs
• Perform cost analysis of services provided by different vendors
• Schedule pick-up and delivery of cargo
• Preparing and/or proofreading all associated documents
• Providing proof of delivery to customers
• Share on-call duties with other department members
• Work closely with other departments (export/import) to deliver high level of service to customers
• Perform other duties that may be assigned

• Strong customer service skills a must
• Willing and able to learn new tasks with training provided
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work with demanding deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and solve problems efficiently
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED

• Industry experience a plus, one-year experience preferred
