The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Picking:
Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders, stage products, and package, band, shrink wrap, and label as required by client demands. All picking operations follow standard operating procedures. - Quality Control:
Verify that products and orders meet quality standards; report any damages or discrepancies. Includes packing, shrink wrapping, and labeling as dictated by SOP. - Safety, Housekeeping and Compliance:
Execute all safety protocols, maintain a clean and orderly work area, assist in warehouse security, and comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards. - Equipment Operation:
Operate pallet jack and other equipment; maintain and report equipment problems. - Maintenance:
Perform or assist in building and equipment maintenance as assigned. - Other Duties:
Work overtime as dictated by business (mandatory or voluntary) and perform other duties as assigned. - Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Experience:
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months which range from mild to moderate. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations:
None.
- Six months experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Computer
Skills:

Skills:
English (reading, writing, verbal). - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products. - Other:
Strong attention to detail, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision, and ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Occasionally:
Handling/Fingering, Sitting. - Frequently:
Bending. - Constantly:
Walking and Standing. - Lift / Carry / Push / Pull: 21-50 pounds; includes reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat or kneel.
The employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.

CompensationFor this position, the expected base pay range is $16.94-$18.94/Hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
