Freezer Warehouse Supervisor - 1st Shift

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Warehouse Supervisor – Cooler/Freezer to manage a team of 15‑25 associates, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

• Supervises and coordinates warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products for the assigned production shift.
• Supervises a team of 15‑25 warehouse associates: hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Ensures timely, accurate, and complete order pulling and loading, including proper stop sequence and necessary paperwork.
• Ensures all products received during the shift are stocked properly and that first‑in/first‑out warehouse procedures are followed for all stock rotation.
• Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic through personal example and ensures associates understand their roles and customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes the company’s warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity; analyzes productivity levels and recommends appropriate changes.
• Handles building security, including locking warehouse and setting alarms after shift if needed.
• Enforces safety protocols and ensures compliance with all material handling, health and safety programs, and policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Location:
  
  Chicago OpCo, 2051 Baseline Road, Montgomery, IL 60538 (no relocation assistance).
• Work Schedule:
  
  1st Shift, Sunday – Thursday, approximately 6 AM to 50 hrs per week; schedule may alternate for training during the first 90 days.
• The cooler and freezer environments range from 36°F (2 °C) to –10°F (–23 °C); freezer jackets are provided and associates will spend the entire shift in this environment.
• Travel: N/A.
• Compensation: $58 k–$75 k base salary plus KPI‑based bonus potential.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and material handling equipment.
• Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of warehouse operations experience.
• 1+ years of experience leading and supervising a team of 15‑20 associates.
