The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
ResponsibilitiesPicking Responsibilities
- Use pallet jack to accurately pick orders, efficiently and accurately pick products, and stage them in appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Verify that products and orders meet quality standards and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products according to SOPs.
- Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and assist in security of the warehouse.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Operate pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Report equipment problems and maintain equipment uptime.
- Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Education and/or
Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Work Environment: Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse; conditions may range from mild to moderate.

English (reading, writing, verbal). - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties related to handling, storing, and distributing client products. - Other: Strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, adaptability to change in a fast‑paced environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally:

Walking and Standing. - Lift/Carry and Push/Pull: 21-50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Employees are rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

CompensationBase pay range is $16.94–$18.94 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors, including experience, skills, education or certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
