2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (2 positions open, Right-to-Hire)
Overview of the Job
The Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting, storing, retrieving, and auditing warehouse materials to ensure efficient distribution operations. This physical role requires operating a standup forklift and other material handling equipment to accurately pick and put away materials. This position demands strict adherence to corporate safety guidelines, daily participation in safety meetings, and maintenance of the facility using 5S methodology.

Candidates must have proven Standup Forklift experience and are required to wear steel-toe boots on Day 1.
Job Specifications
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive a Standup Forklift (similar to Raymond or Crown), Cherry Picker, Turret, hand jacks, and other material handling equipment to support department operations.
- Accurately and efficiently put away, pick, stage, sort, and stack materials and supplies.
- Transport, store, retrieve, identify, audit, and locate warehouse inventory.
- Access and operate computers and RF scanners to perform inventory transactions.
- Comply with all company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Actively participate in team and safety meetings.
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall integrity of the facility through 5S methodology.
- Complete other general warehouse duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have dedicated Standup Forklift experience.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain flexible and adjust quickly to sudden changes in operational goals or production demands.
- Detailed and results-oriented approach to tasks.
- Working knowledge of SAP inventory software.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out simple instructions from written or oral communications.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
- Ability to bend, push, and lift materials weighing over 30 pounds.
- Ability to work comfortably in both cold and hot warehouse environments.
Education and Experience
- 1–2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- GED or High School Diploma is preferred, but not required.
