As part of the DSV team, the Inventory Control Associate operates material handling equipment (MHE) to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. Computer data entry is required for receipts, shipments, and inventory maintenance. The Inventory Associate supports the supervisor/manager to ensure compliance with quality standards and site policies.

- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory
- Direct customer interface to answer questions and resolve issues
- Return material from customers to factory
- Transfer material to the appropriate area
- Relocate material to maintain inventory range and locations
- Safe use of all equipment
- Function autonomously, reporting progress and issues to supervisor/management
- Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Maintain records and reports to ensure inventory control and security; conduct physical inventory as required; assist in in-house cycle counts; support shipping/receiving in locating missing items
- Perform safety audits and report/correct unsafe operations
- Participate in daily start-up and meetings; assist supervision as needed
- Use PC skills for e-mail and generating reports
- Initiate action to prevent non-conformities and identify/record problems; propose solutions and verify implementation
- Review/investigate issues with inbound/outbound functions including unloading, checking, stocking, order pulling, staging, labeling, and loading; notify management when procedures require updates
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area; perform housekeeping audits
- Assist leadership as needed
- Work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends; participate in cross-training to support multiple departments
- Work overtime as required

Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment
- Able to operate MHE
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Basic computer skills
- RF Scanners
- WMS functions
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, and perform duties related to handling, storing, and distributing client products
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and timely
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- 1-3 years of experience in an inventory department
- 1-3 years forklift experience
- Current or prior MHE certification

Compensation and BenefitsFor this position, the expected base pay range is 21.23 - 23.23 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
