Inventory exception clerk - semi automation

Work with cartons and trays primarily received from the Automated Storage and Retrieval System. Utilize a computer and scanner to interact with multiple warehouse management systems. Problem solves system issues and quickly resolve to support operations.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 6PM – 2:30AM

Starting pay is $27.50 per hour. Compensation depends on relevant experience, education, specific skills, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. Expected base rate for this role is between $27 and $28. This role will also receive overtime compensation.

• Manually remove cases from a tray and place onto a pallet, sending empty tray back into system.
• Quality check cases for expiration dates, packaging quality, and product quality.
• Further inspect and address flagged tray maintenance issues; clean or repair tray before putting it on the takeaway conveyor and sending back into the system.
• Print and apply new labels to correct label no‑reads/errors on a tray to ensure readability by scanner.
• Manually palletize trays of cases for exception customer order handling.
• May utilize a pallet jack to move empty pallets from the work area to continue the flow of operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of workstation by removing any debris from the floor.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Good attention to detail; able to read and write legibly.
• Ability to interact with a computer and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.

• Previous Inventory Control experience, including experience working with Warehouse Management Systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Onsite:
Comfortable working in a multi‑temperature environment ranging from
-10 degrees to over 100 degrees.
