Accountant

We are seeking a temporary accountant to support our team until the end of the year. The primary responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and cash application, with additional tasks in bank reconciliations and journal entries.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely within the ERP system.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices.
• Assist in preparing weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
• Assist with reconciling daily cash receipts with bank deposits.
• Generate customer invoices for service work, spare parts, and sealant transactions.
• Review customer contracts and project milestones to ensure accurate and timely billing.

• Strong background in accounts payable and accounts receivable, particularly in 3-way matching and cash application.
• Experience in general accounting, including general ledger management, month-end processes, and journal entries.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial for understanding cost and inventory processes.
• A degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

The position offers flexibility for either part-time or full-time work, depending on the candidate's needs. The role requires onsite work in Aurora.

This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, OH.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
