CPA​/Accountant

This entrepreneurial minded CPA certified Accountant will act as a liaison between the wealth management and preservation firm and its clients to offer a concierge tax filing service. This person will be responsible for helping client individuals and organizations file their taxes appropriately while following legal guidelines and obtaining the maximum possible tax return for the clients of EmVision. Great success in this role will come from someone who is ambitious, strategic and eager to grow their existing book of business while gaining the connections of a growing wealth preservation firm.

Also, this person will have additional entrepreneurial opportunities to become a licensed financial advisor and create opportunities for additional income.

• Prepare requested tax returns for the clients of the firm, to include filing returns with multiple forms and schedules
• Provide basic strategic tax filing suggestions to clients and make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
• Prepare and file periodic state and local tax filings
• Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
• Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
• Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
• Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
• Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
• Keep up to date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the position

• Degree in Accounting or Business Finance and CPA certification required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Robust financial analytics and numerical skills
• Consistent strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
• Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate easily with all levels of employees and clients
