** Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the
** Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
** provides skilled physical therapy treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

** Key Responsibilities of Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)*
* * Administer physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
* Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
* Monitor and document resident progress and responses to treatment
* Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team

** Qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
*** Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
