Family Tree Rehabilitation, part of The Campus of Anna Maria, is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy department. Located on a serene wooded campus in Ohio, we are a family-owned and operated skilled nursing facility committed to providing exceptional, resident-centered rehabilitation services in a warm and supportive environment.

Position Summary Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled physical therapy treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Key Responsibilities of Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

  • Administer physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
  • Monitor and document resident progress and responses to treatment
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Qualifications for Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

  • Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
