The primary role of a Technical Functional Analyst is to bridge the gap between technical teams (such as developers and IT professionals) and business stakeholders. These individuals play a crucial role in ensuring that technology solutions align with the business requirements and objectives of an organization. This role involves a combination of technical MES knowledge and an understanding of business processes.

• Gain understanding of the functional capabilities of various MES platforms.
• Gather and document requirements to create functional designs.
• Collaborate with a Technical Lead to translate functional designs into technical specifications.
• Act as a bridge between customer stakeholders and technical development teams.
• Identify solutions during issues or conflicts that align with business needs and technical feasibility.
• Perform hands-on configuration of platforms.
• Oversee testing strategy and execution to ensure proper system functioning.
• Document requirements and design decisions thoroughly.
• Manage changes to the software or system.
• Facilitate training strategies and oversee training and support for end-users.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews for improvements.

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, consulting, or project deployment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Creative thinking skills and ability to work across time zones and cultures.

• Experience deploying software in manufacturing settings.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience as a Business or Functional Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with common MES low-code/no-code platforms.
