Job Title: EHR Implementation Project Manager
Location: Aurora Ohio (My Client at all locations)
Employment Type: Full time from May 1 to December 31, 2025
Salary: $45/hr for the right background (80k for direct hire)
Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the entire EHR implementation process on a day to day basis. The role is highly operational and focuses on execution, coordination, and keeping the project on track. The EHR will be implemented across multiple services including ICF, waiver and non waiver housing, adult day services, and employment services.
Responsibilities include:
Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop a comprehensive project plan with milestones, timelines, and deliverables tailored to the specific needs of each service.
- Coordinate with the vendor to develop and execute a detailed implementation plan with timelines, milestones, and key deliverables.
- Ensure alignment across service areas and stakeholders, from direct care staff to leadership teams.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders including leadership, project advisors, service coordinators, staff, and the EHR vendor.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication to support diverse implementation needs.
- Oversee the full EHR implementation timeline ensuring timely completion of data migration, testing, and user training.
- Manage the project budget by allocating resources appropriately and preventing financial overrun.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may delay or affect the success of the project.
- Resolve issues related to system integration, training, and resource allocation as they occur.
- Oversee training to ensure that all staff are well-equipped to use the EHR system in their specific roles.
- Develop or coordinate support plans for post-implementation success.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and quality assurance standards applicable to both clinical and administrative data use.
- Project management or equivalent experience
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience with iCareManager (iCM) or a similar EHR platform
- Experience in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) field
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for IDD providers
