Senior Maintenance Mechanic

This is a 3rd shift position. Perform equipment and facilities electro-mechanical troubleshooting, preventative and repair maintenance activities in our ring rolling mill facility.

• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace.
• Possess practical PLC programming and control logic diagnostic experience.
• Skill and experience with operating overhead and jib cranes, scissor lifts and bucket lifts using safety restraints.
• Skill and experience with performing PM tasks, completing PM work orders and records, lubricate and service fluids, change oils, filters
with reading and interpreting drawings and schematics to perform trouble shooting and equipment diagnosis tasks
• Good knowledge of electrical / electronic principals and subjects

Possess a minimum five-year journeyman status and / or technical degree certification from a college or technical school. Training and working experience must, at a minimum include CNC (Fanuc and Siemens), CNC electronic control devices, motors and drives and high voltage wiring and applications.

This position requires access to export controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
