About the Role:

As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll work hands-on with state-of-the-art Haas ST-30/ST-25 lathes and VF-4 mills to craft precision components used in mission-critical environments. Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes (ST-30/ST-25) and vertical mills (VF-4)
- Write, edit, and troubleshoot G-code programs for various machining operations
- Perform tooling setups, machine offsets, and load programs
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Monitor and optimize machine performance for quality and efficiency
- Maintain accurate production records and setup documentation
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning to keep machines in top shape
- Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and fellow machinists to resolve issues and improve output
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies (zero-tolerance drug screening environment)
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience operating Haas CNC machines (lathes and/or mills)
- Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CNC controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
- Experience with multi-axis machining and complex part geometries
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Basic CAM software experience (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; CNC certification or technical training preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
