Quality Engineering
The Opportunity
We are seeking a transformative leader to serve as the primary architect of our Quality Management System. In this role, you will bridge the gap between rigorous engineering standards and shop-floor execution, ensuring our electrical distribution equipment meets the highest benchmarks of safety and reliability. You won't just be managing a checklist; you will be building a culture where quality is a shared responsibility, directly impacting our ability to power critical infrastructure across the globe.
WhatSuccess Looks Like
In this role, your success is measured by outcomes, not just activities. In your first year, you will:
- System Modernization:
You have successfully transitioned the QMS from a reactive, paper-heavy system to a streamlined, intuitive process that supports rapid manufacturing. - Proactive Risk Mitigation:
Non-conformances are identified and mitigated at the point of origin, significantly reducing the need for late-stage rework or testing failures. - Culture of Partnership:
The production and engineering teams view the Quality department as a collaborative resource that enables speed and precision rather than a bureaucratic hurdle. - Audit Readiness:
Our facility maintains a state of "constant readiness," where internal and external audits are passed with ease due to the inherent integrity of our daily processes.
- Bias to Action:
You don’t wait for a committee to identify a bottleneck. When you see a process deviation or a safety risk, you engage immediately, gather the necessary stakeholders, and drive toward a resolution with urgency. - Process-Oriented Thinker:
You have a natural talent for breaking down complex technical requirements into repeatable, scalable workflows. - Principled Leader:
You possess the professional courage to pause production when standards aren t met, balanced with the pragmatism to find a path forward. - Continuous Improver:
You are never satisfied with the status quo. You are constantly looking for ways to lean out documentation and make compliance "invisible" to the end-user.
