Position Description

The Staging Operator at Layer Zero Power Systems LLC. will be responsible for coordinating and preparing materials and components for production while ensuring they are properly organized and ready for use. The role requires strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail, and works effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements
  • Follow 3D model to install final parts (i.e., cover panels, labels, etc.) on power cabinets
  • Use standard hand tools (i.e., drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.) to complete tasks assigned
  • Sort and stage material to be used at final packaging station
  • Assemble wood pallets as required
  • Verify the accuracy of the materials and components received by comparing them to the specifications provided
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean and organized staging area
  • Assist in other tasks related to material handling and inventory control as needed
  • Stand for extended periods of time; may also bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder
Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience in staging, material handling, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Basic knowledge of standard hand tools (i.e., drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (i.e., web browser, email)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and types of materials/components
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Manual dexterity and good hand‑eye coordination
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred.
