Global Sales Manager Industrial Automation and Mechatronics
Our client is a privately held US-based manufacturer of advanced actuation and motion solutions is seeking a Global Sales Manager to lead revenue growth and expand market presence worldwide. This is a senior leadership role with direct impact on strategy, customers, and long-term scale.
This position blends sales leadership, hands‑on business development, and technical credibility. You will work closely with executive leadership and engineering to commercialize next‑generation technology across OEMs, machine builders, and integrators in multiple industries.
What You’ll Do- Own and execute a multi‑year global growth strategy aligned with company objectives
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing sales organization including direct sellers and channel partners
- Develop and manage global reps and distributors across the Americas, Europe, and Asia
- Drive new business development in automation, industrial machinery, mobile equipment, energy, and defense‑adjacent markets
- Engage directly with key customers on complex technical and commercial opportunities
- Partner with engineering to translate customer needs into product and roadmap decisions
- Oversee pricing strategy, forecasting, CRM discipline, and margin performance
- Support major negotiations, long‑term agreements, and strategic partnerships
- Represent the company at industry events and customer engagements
- Proven sales leader with deep experience in engineered industrial products
- Strong background in motion control, mechatronics, hydraulics, electromechanical systems, or automation
- Demonstrated success building and leading sales teams and channel networks
- Track record of launching new technologies or products into the market
- Comfortable selling complex engineered solutions rather than catalog products
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels
- Willingness to travel approximately 30 to 40 percent domestically and internationally
- Executive visibility and influence in a growing technology‑driven organization
