Accounting Manager

Full-time, on-site Senior Accountant responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and financial integrity. Owns general ledger maintenance, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close. Prepares financial statements and management reports, supports budgeting/forecasting, and provides audit documentation. Oversees AP/AR, monitors internal controls, and partners with leadership to drive financial insights and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• General ledger management & journal entry preparation
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Month-end/year-end close
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Audit support and compliance documentation
• AP/AR oversight and internal controls monitoring
• Cross-functional collaboration with leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, ideally in industrial manufacturing
• Strong GL, reconciliation, and financial statement preparation skills
• Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit support
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (Navision, Net Suite, IQMS, Delmia Works, or Dynamics a plus)
• CPA or progress toward certification preferred, not required
• Cost accounting and fixed asset experience a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools in business/accounting a plus
