Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, performs Employee Health & Safety analytical work of moderate complexity or difficulty. Conducts inspections and audits and recognizes hazards. Prepares solutions to safety concerns. Keeps records of programs as required by law and internal procedures. Coordinates training for safety and health matters and accident prevention. Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Influence 1-3 direct reports and others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

- Develops and implements safety programs.
- Tracks and evaluates audit program and recommends continuous improvements.
- Contributes to the review and preparations of safety policies.
- Monitors, analyzes, and advises of new safety regulations applicable to operations.
- Responsible for internal and external compliance reporting.
- Reviews and advises on Safety Managed Programs.
- Conducts training sessions at corporate and facility levels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Solid knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
- Ability to identify unsafe work practices and/or able to recognize processes subject to safety/environmental regulations.
- Takes an analytical approach to complex issues and problem solving.
- Ability to train and coach colleagues on issues relating to EH&S.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software and Internet research.
The pay range for this position is $62,300.00 - $. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $80,000.00 to $95,000.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
