Summary

Receives and records driver receivables daily, documents deliveries without check or cash receipts, totals payments, and verifies receipts and store printouts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receives, records, and verifies daily receipts from drivers.
  • Receives, records, and verifies daily check deposits from drivers and completes control sheets.
  • Verifies and copies grocery store printouts.
  • Analyzes and researches causes of "short pays" and explains results to the responsible driver.
  • Produces reports summarizing daily activities and shortages.
  • Documents uncollected checks by driver stop.
  • Files documents and deposit account summaries into a secured safe.
  • Dialogues and summarizes accounts with drivers.
  • Assists with related special projects as required.
  • Manages the resolution of short payments.
  • Assists in dispatching and answering phone calls.
  • Assists in other duties assigned by the Transportation Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

Requires knowledge of warehouse software and basic Windows functions, e.g., SAP, KEA, Excel, and Word.
