Public Relations Associate

The Donovan's Venom, INC. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization dedicated to taking music, art, and entertainment to those who need it the most. We cater to no particular individual(s) yet pledge relief to impaired or deprived individuals who are in need of musical, visual, comedic, and-or any alternative forms of liberation-through fine art & entertainment.

We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact.

We’re looking for a Public Relations Associate to join our growing team!

• Collaborate with journalists and media outlets to foster positive coverage of our organization
• Support the planning and execution of events, press conferences, and other PR activities
• Craft press releases, coordinate press conferences, and address media inquiries
• Generate favorable publicity and promote the organization's products, services, and key messages
• Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with a range of stakeholders, including the media, customers, employees, investors, government agencies, and the general public

• Experience as a Public Relations Associate or similar role, preferably in a related industry
• Experience with digital PR strategy, including social media management and online reputation management
• Ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt style for different audiences
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of media relations practices, including media list development, outreach strategies, and media monitoring
