The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA. Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit
5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments. Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.
- Supervise installation and maintenance of erosion control measures (silt fencing, sediment basins, inlet protection, etc.).
- Conduct daily and weekly field inspections to ensure compliance with GDOT specs and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with environmental inspectors and subcontractors to resolve non‑compliance issues promptly.
- Document erosion control activities and inspections in compliance logs and reporting systems.
- Respond quickly to weather events and field changes requiring updated ESC plans.
- Train field staff on erosion control best practices and environmental stewardship.
- Ensure proper stockpiling, stabilization, and stormwater management throughout the project site.
- 3-5 years of experience in erosion control or environmental compliance in a construction setting.
- Must possess a Level 1A and Level 1B Certification (Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission).
- Strong familiarity with NPDES permitting, GDOT erosion control standards, and BMPs.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
- Comfortable in field conditions and working outdoors in all weather.
