Job Purpose
The Chief Financial Officer is primarily responsible for the planning, implementation, management and control of all financial activities of the entity/entities and provides leadership for the accounting, budgeting, and forecasting of department units. The position assumes a strategic role in the overall direction and management of the entity/entities in evaluating short-term and long-term strategic initiatives and through its responsibilities for fostering key stakeholder and partnership relations.

- Profound leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and with key stakeholders to form strategic alliances.
- Strong analytical skill set with sound judgment and the ability to make creative and strategic recommendations.
- Individual must have a high level of integrity and dependability and be focused on achieving results in an accurate and timely fashion.

Minimum Education RequiredBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with concentration in finance.
Minimum Experience RequiredTen (10) or more years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles within the health care industry.

Additional QualificationsPrefer Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with concentration in finance, and/or CPA highly desirable.
