Asa Certified Surgical Technician at Ortho Atlanta, you’ll:
- An essential part of our Operating Room team, ensuring the smooth flow of each surgical procedure
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are sterile and set up properly
- Work closely with the surgeon and registered nurse to anticipate needs and support surgical procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Understand the surgical procedures being performed and assist with tasks as needed
- Help maintain and monitor the sterile field, ensuring the safety of every patient
- Assist in turnover and restocking of OR following procedures
- Are confident, calm, and alert under pressure
- Has a deep understanding of sterile procedures and OR best practices
- Works well in a fast-paced environment and communicates clearly with your team
- Takes pride in precision, safety, and patient-focused care
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in orthopedic surgery
- Strong pain management procedure experience and is proficient with C-arm operation and OR imaging workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification required; hospital experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, tools, and sterile field management
- Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team
