As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Ortho Atlanta, you'll:
- Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and plans of care
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Instruct patients on home exercise programs and post-discharge care
- Document treatments, progress, and discharge planning accurately and timely
- Maintain confidential and compliant patient records
- Record treatment charges and complete documentation daily
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized treatment areas and equipment
- Provide support to Physical Therapy Aides as needed
- Respond appropriately to urgent or emergent situations per protocol
- Offer occasional administrative support including answering phones and scheduling patients

What you'll need
- Associate degree in healthcare or related field
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Georgia PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices
