Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist I – OR CVOR Tech | Austell, Georgia | Start August 31, 2026 | 13 weeks | 36 hours per week | Day shift, 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting. The Cardiovascular Technologist I supports diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures with on‑job training for cath lab/EP responsibilities. The role emphasizes sterile technique and patient safety, with orientation and competency checks before participating in cath/EP call rotations.

Travel assignment in a hospital environment - Orientation and competency checks; potential call rotation after orientation
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab or EP lab
- Maintain sterile technique, prepare and operate specialized equipment, and monitor patient status during procedures
- Support patient care for adults and geriatric patients, ensuring safety and compliance with infection control standards
- Adhere to established protocols, document procedures, and assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and turnover
- Participate in cath or EP call rotation once oriented and successfully checked off on clinical and operational competencies
- No cath lab or interventional experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with adults (18–65) and geriatric patients
- Comfort with sterile technique, procedural support, and monitoring in a high-acuity environment
- Willingness to complete orientation and competency checks; ability to participate in call rotations after orientation
- Must be able to work day shift; 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week
- Dedicated support from a travel-focused recruiter and assignment team
- 24/7 support during the assignment
- Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start
- Ongoing resources to support safe and compliant practice in the cath/EP environment
