Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab or EP lab
  • Maintain sterile technique, prepare and operate specialized equipment, and monitor patient status during procedures
  • Support patient care for adults and geriatric patients, ensuring safety and compliance with infection control standards
  • Adhere to established protocols, document procedures, and assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and turnover
  • Participate in cath or EP call rotation once oriented and successfully checked off on clinical and operational competencies
Requirements
  • No cath lab or interventional experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • Ability to work in a hospital setting with adults (18–65) and geriatric patients
  • Comfort with sterile technique, procedural support, and monitoring in a high-acuity environment
  • Willingness to complete orientation and competency checks; ability to participate in call rotations after orientation
  • Must be able to work day shift; 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week
