PRN Respiratory Therapist - Non-NICU Nights

Role Overview:
The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings. They exercise independent judgment in ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas analysis, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care.

• Delivering patient-centered respiratory care, including aerosolized medications, bronchi ole hygiene, and oxygen therapy.
• Managing ventilators, performing weaning, and interpreting waveforms.
• Assessing patient needs and collaborating with healthcare teams for care planning.
• Educating patients, families, and supporting staff; mentoring new employees and students.
• Ensuring safety through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics.

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications:
  
  NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Prof, BLS, and ACLS.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, customer service, and computer skills.
