Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy, including aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.
  • Assess patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures, arterial blood gas sampling, and pulmonary diagnostics.
  • Educate patients and support staff, serving as a preceptor for new employees and students.
  • Ensure safety and quality through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and participation in PI initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Valid certifications including RCP, NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Minimum of two years of critical care clinical experience across various units.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficient with computer systems and databases.
