We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Developer with strong expertise in CAP, Node.js, SAP UI5, and OData services. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integrating with SAP S/4
HANA and other enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality, robust solutions.
- Develop cloud-native applications on SAP BTP using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and Node.js.
- Design, build, and deploy SAP UI5/Fiori applications using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) or VS Code.
- Create, expose, and consume OData/CDS services, integrating them with SAP S/4
HANA and other backend systems. - Design and implement microservices and REST/OData APIs, managing authentication and security through XSUAA.
- Deploy applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma environments.
- Utilize SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Destination, Workflow, and Launchpad.
- Integrate applications with SAP and non-SAP platforms using SAP Integration Suite, BTP Destinations, and external APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable architecture, best practices, and successful project delivery.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP BTP development.
- Strong expertise in CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with SAP UI5/Fiori application development.
- Experience creating and consuming OData/CDS services.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP services including HANA Cloud, XSUAA, Workflow, and Launchpad.
- Familiarity with deploying applications on Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments.
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using Integration Suite, Destinations, and APIs.
- Strong understanding of authentication, security, and scalable cloud architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative teams.
- Prior experience with SAP S/4
HANA integration. - Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and modern development tools.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
