Guidewire Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Data Engineer to support enterprise data engineering initiatives.

This role involves developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integrating data from Guidewire systems into modern data platforms such as Databricks and Azure Synapse.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering within cloud environments and experience working with insurance industry platforms.

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks and Azure.
• Integrate and transform data from Guidewire systems for analytical and operational use.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency in the cloud environment.
• Leverage Azure Synapse for advanced data transformation and analytics (if applicable).
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and pipeline issues.

• Strong experience with Guidewire systems integration.
• Proficiency with Databricks and Azure data engineering tools.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, transformation, and ETL processes.

• Hands‑on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Prior experience in the insurance domain.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices in data engineering.
