The SOECA environmental services technician is responsible for:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various environments, including all classrooms, main & admin lobby areas, adult & scholar restrooms, hallways, common areas, and the cafeteria.
• Monday‑Friday 6:30 PM‑9:30 PM (15 hours per week) based on the school's 12‑month calendar.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the school facilities.

• Perform custodial duties in classrooms, restrooms, public lobby areas, staff breakroom, and gym, such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Maintain and care for floors by vacuuming, shampooing, and buffing.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and waste materials.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage closet(s).
• Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Operations and/or Head of School.
• Comply with all Seeds of Excellence Christian Academy policies, procedures, and quality standards as well as safety and environmental regulations.

• Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
• Capability to work independently and efficiently.
• A commitment to upholding Christian values and dedicated Christian.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
