The General Manager (GM) will lead overall operations at Vantem’s Clio or Lakeland manufacturing plant, ensuring the efficient production and delivery of modular units that meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The General Manager (GM) will lead overall operations at Vantem’s Clio manufacturing plant, ensuring the efficient production and delivery of modular units that meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role is responsible for aligning the plant’s people, processes, and performance with Vantem’s mission of making housing more sustainable and accessible.

• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for plant operations.
• Translate corporate strategy into plant-level execution plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee manufacturing of modular units for affordable housing, senior living, and multifamily projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and throughput improvements.

• Manage plant P&L, budgets, and KPIs.
• Implement cost-effective systems to improve financial and operational performance.
• Partner with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and reporting.

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across production, engineering, and support functions.
• Champion training, development, and employee engagement programs.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and values-driven workplace.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and community partners to align plant output with project needs.
• Represent Vantem in local community initiatives and workforce development partnerships.
• Ensure production capacity supports pipeline demand in affordable housing, senior living, and multifamily sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, or modular building environments.
• Strong financial and operational acumen with proven P&L management.
• Experience scaling operations and leading large teams in a high-growth environment.
• Deep understanding of quality systems, lean manufacturing, and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
