Job OverviewSeeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee our commercial laundry operations, specializing in servicing high-end hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, customer service, and business development within the laundry, hospitality, or related industry. This role requires a leader who can ensure operational efficiency, maintain high-quality service standards, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities Operational Management- Oversee daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and delivery.
- Implement and maintain operational best practices to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating at peak performance, minimizing downtime.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and safety compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply chain logistics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury hotel clients, ensuring service expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client concerns and ensure prompt resolution of service issues.
- Work closely with sales and account management teams to retain and expand client partnerships.
- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze financial reports and operational data to improve profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Negotiate vendor contracts to optimize expenses and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Has full P&L responsibility over assigned facility.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across all departments.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement staff development programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in commercial laundry, hospitality, or a related industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of laundry operations, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive business growth.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with experience in managing high-end clients.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with laundry management software (preferred).
