This travel RN role places an ER nurse in a high‑acuity, fast‑paced ED with an interdisciplinary team, under a professional practice framework. The assignment emphasizes evidence‑based practice, patient‑centered care, and adherence to professional standards within a structured governance model.

Travel assignment in a hospital ED - Location:
Austell, GA, US
- Provide direct emergency nursing care to ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and perform nurse-driven procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers to coordinate patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Educate patients and families; communicate patient needs and care plans with the team to support safe discharge or transfer
- Uphold professional standards per the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics; participate in quality and safety initiatives
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Emergency Department nursing knowledge or ED experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics
- Ability to work nights in a 3x12-hour shift pattern
- Competence in a hospital ED setting and comfort with fast‑paced, high-acuity care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to function within an interdisciplinary patient services team
