Job Summary

Night shift, United States of America. Bonus Eligible for Qualified Candidates. The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers who ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high‑quality, safe patient care. The role is governed by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence‑based practice, with RN competencies supported by Wellstar Values.

• Exemplary Practice and Outcomes
  • Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence‑based practice and analytical/critical thinking.
  • Provides relationship‑based, patient‑centered care adapted to population‑specific characteristics (e.g., age, gender, disease, cultural diversity).
  • Partners with patients and significant others using appropriate methods such as bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and timely teaching.

  • Promotes evidence‑based practice and participates in research and data collection.
  • Upholds system and professional policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Education
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing school (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Licensure and Certification
  • Regulated RN (Single State) or RN – Multi‑State Compact, Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor (required upon hire).
• Experience
  • Less than 1 year of nursing school completion with required clinical hours (required).
  • Direct patient care experience (preferred).
• Skills
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology to support clinical care.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast‑paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively and respectfully.
