Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our new Austell Pediatrics practice in Austell, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new pediatric practice while providing comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents in a welcoming, family-centered environment.
Position Highlights- Full-time outpatient pediatric practice

- Epic electronic medical record (EMR)
- Convenient access to the Atlanta metropolitan area
- Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents
- Perform well-child visits, preventive care, and routine physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Provide patient and family education regarding health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with pediatric physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Georgia APRN or PA license (or eligibility for Georgia licensure)
- National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Current DEA registration (or eligibility)
- BLS certification
