Position: Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Austell, GA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours
  • Day shift: 6:45am–5:15pm
  • Four days a week with call
Key Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Active RN license (single state or compact)
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association, ARC, or Instructor level)
  • Direct patient care experience preferred; completion of clinical hour requirements required
  • Expertise in the nursing process with strong analytical, time management, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized perioperative care using the nursing process, supporting superior patient outcomes
  • Partner with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and communicate care plans
  • Document thoroughly and facilitate effective, respectful communication
  • Serve as preceptor or mentor for fellow nurses and students
  • Promote and implement evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Uphold ethical, legal, and professional nursing standards in all practices
