Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Trauma

Role: An integral member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. The RN performs comprehensive assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates care using evidence-based practices, ensuring individualized treatment that respects cultural diversity. They partner with patients and families, promoting effective communication and shared decision-making. The role involves coordinating care, documenting accurately, and participating in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance.

• Deliver relationship-based, population-specific, culturally competent care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.
• Support professional development by mentoring and completing required training.
• Engage in evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop protocols and optimize resource utilization.
• Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and ethical practices.

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• Current RN license (single or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Less than one year of clinical experience preferred, with completion of accredited nursing program.
