Role
The flow coordinator manages the daily operations of the Cath & EP Labs, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and procedural workflow.
Responsibilities- Coordinate schedules, assign staff, communicate with physicians and logistics teams, promote quality care, support staff performance, and facilitate ongoing education and equipment troubleshooting.
- Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience with interventional cardiac procedures;
Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and RN licensure are required.
- Extensive cardiovascular procedural knowledge, strong communication, delegation, prioritization, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under stress, assess staff skills, and support clinical teams is essential.
This role requires call coverage, including holidays and weekends, with the ability to report within 30 minutes. The coordinator actively supports clinical practice, fosters collaboration, and adheres to policies to optimize department performance.
